Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is one of the most popular treatments for both men and women using pulses of laser light to cause destruction resulting in damage to the hair follicle for permanent hair reduction. The hairs treated will become finer and softer becoming less visible, slowing down the growth more and more with each treatment. We can treat skin types 1-4 and hairs that have colour, the lighter the skin colour and the darker the hair the more effective the treatment.

A consultation is required prior to any laser treatment with one of our professional laser therapists who will assess your medical history, hair growth and discuss all you need to know about your laser treatment and answer any of your questions. If suitable we will perform a patch test on the area to check you are laser friendly to ensure no adverse reactions will occur on your skin. We will then book you in for your first session 48 hours or more later.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How does light assisted hair removal work?
The light emitted by the device is absorbed my melanin(the colour) within the hair. This is then converted into heat energy, damaging the hair follicle.
  • What does the treatment feel like?
Treatment sensation varies and everyone's pain threshold is different but you can feel what is described as the 'hot flick' of an elastic band during treatment. However thanks to Dynamic Reflex Technology, most clients describe the discomfort as moderate and tolerable.
  • How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions required varies from client to client and is dependent on many factors. Results can be seen after just a few treatments. We recommend having a session regularly every 4-6 weeks for face and every 6-8 weeks for body hair for a course of treatment. However a minimum of 4 and up to 12 treatments are recommended as a course to deliver the best results and maintenance treatments are advised to sustain results.
  • Who is suitable for treatment?
Most people are suitable for treatment. Grey/white hair has no melanin so in this case we would advise electrolysis, we can offer a combination of laser and electrolysis. We always carry out a thorough consultation to assess medical history, suitability for treatment and plan the best treatment plan for you.
  • How much is it?
Consultations are £40 which includes your patch test, this is payable upon booking. Laser session prices start at £70 per session. We offer great discounts on courses including 10% discount on courses of 4 and 20% discount on courses of 8. Find our full price guide below.
