The light emitted by the device is absorbed my melanin(the colour) within the hair. This is then converted into heat energy, damaging the hair follicle.

Treatment sensation varies and everyone's pain threshold is different but you can feel what is described as the 'hot flick' of an elastic band during treatment. However thanks to Dynamic Reflex Technology, most clients describe the discomfort as moderate and tolerable.

The number of sessions required varies from client to client and is dependent on many factors. Results can be seen after just a few treatments. However a minimum of 4 and up to 12 treatments are recommended to deliver the best results and maintenance treatments are advised to sustain results.

Most people are suitable for treatment. Grey/white hair has no melanin so in this case we would advise electrolysis, we can offer a combination of laser and electrolysis.
