WHAT ARE MILIA?

More commonly known as milk spots, milia are simply pockets of dead skin. Old skin cells get trapped and then harden, causing the small white spots you see. Our advanced electrolysis technique using short wave diathermy to melt away milia.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM MILIA TREATMENT

You will feel a slight heat feeling from the end of the probe, this procedure is very quick and and discomfort is minimal. The procedure and the process will be discussed during your initial consultation, where you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions before we begin.

MILIA REMOVAL AFTERCARE

Avoid direct heat such as hot baths or showers and use SPF. Try not to touch the treatment area. There will usually be a small red mark where the spots were, however this will usually heal very quickly.
